Joshua Tree National Park covers nearly 800,000 acres and straddles the transition zone between the Mojave and the Sonoran Deserts. It encompasses a stunning range of landscapes and life zones. It’s a desert lover’s dream, a hiker’s playground, and a rock climber’s paradise.
See Monzogranite outcrops. That have collapsed upon them self, forming giant boulder piles that dot the landscape. A visit to Keys View for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Coachella Valley. From San Gorgonio Pass to the Salton Sea, and right in the middle the San Andreas earthquake fault zone. Then onto Jumbo Rocks to see Skull Rock one of the more unusual rock formations. |
